After a long hiatus, which included forgetting to pay my hosting provider and having the blog deleted, we're finally back online and this time for good!
I've ditched WordPress and gone full DIY. Now the entire website is static-generated, and built with:
- Nuxt.js as my framework of choice.
- Nuxt Content as a file-based CMS.
- Tailwind CSS for my CSS-ing needs.
- Shadcn-vue to kickstart some base components.
I'm hosting the site on Cloudflare Pages, with the contact form API running on a Cloudflare Worker that uses email routing to send your messages my way.
This process came with a steep learning curve for someone that wasn't used to frontend development, and took waaaay longer than I expected, but I'm quite pleased with how it turned out.
So... It's time to play catch-up again, and revisit the projects I've been tinkering with since the blog went down, let's do this!
